Welcome to the Friends' Page!

The Friends of Blackbrook School are a group of parents who meet monthly to organise events and raise funds for the school. This enables us to purchase items that enhance school life.

Items we have purchased over the last few years include:

Wooden outdoor play area
PA system
Folding tables and trolley
Art and design materials
Portable music centre
Visit of Life education bus
School reading books
Large assortment of dressing up clothes
Musical instruments

Events we have organised to support our fundraising includes:

Jumble sale
Family Easter bingo
Sale of second hand uniform
KS1 and KS2 discos
Quiz evenings
Non uniform day
Square grids

Every year we hold one main summer event, last year we helped to organise a whole school sponsored walk. This year we are again organising a Summer Fayre, our annual Grand Prize Draw takes place during this event.

We are always looking for new members, different fundraising ideas and outside sponsorship. If you are interested in joining the Friends of Blackbrook School or supporting us in any way, please contact us via the school.
